I’ve come across quite a few people over the last few weeks who are struggling to make ends meet. They are either out of work or just not making enough at their current jobs.  Some friends just want extra money to take more vacations, buy a new car, or to help supplement their income. Despite what you’ve heard or think, you can make money online and I will share with you how you can do that in the following report.

I’ve spent the last 19 months learning a lot about making money online.  I’ve spent my fair share on snake oil, and have literally tried everything.  Now that I’ve got the hang of things I’ve created a free guide to help friends and family who want to make some money on the side.  I especially hope those who don’t have jobs will actually do some of what I’m about to share– so they can stop whining about not having money and employ themselves full time.  Money is everywhere, you just need to get yourself out of the “employee” mentality.

Keep in mind that this was written to show you how you can make money “online” NOT “easy”, “fast”, “quick”,  or “magically”. There is no silver bullet, whatever method you choose will take some effort, dedication, and discipline in order to see profit. The good news is that you will make money.

If you’re lazy there is nothing this report can help you with.

These methods are all SCAM FREE.  Meaning you will turn a profit if you follow the steps exactly. This report should give you some inspiration and really good ideas about how to make money online.  Apply your common sense, and visit forums such as WickedFire.com to get help. Your only shortcut to the learning curve is to pay someone with experience to teach you.

Otherwise you’ll have to learn from trial and error, which can take years and cost you hundreds or even thousands of dollars.  So if you have the opportunity to learn from someone with more experience or if you can buy an eBook on the subject, do it. You’ll end up saving time and money.

Make Money Online:  Amazon’s Mechanical Turk.

“MTurk” as its commonly called is a great and very simple way to make money online. The tasks outlined for you to do with the service are simple and only take a few seconds to a minute to complete. You won’t be making money hand over fist, but if you’re ever in a bind and need some spending cash or gas money, then Mechanical Turk will come in handy. You can sign-up for free and after you complete their qualification process you’ll begin to earn access to higher- paying tasks.

Make Money Online By Selling stock photos.

iStockPhoto is only one place where you can sell stock photos and this is not the only place. Before you commit to uploading everything you have, see what is actually selling and find items in the same category. iStockPhoto is great if you know how to render images because the most widely seen images were probably made on the computer. Get three great stock pictures ready to be looked at by iStockPhoto when you are ready to sign up because they will want them.

Make Money Online Selling stuff on eBay.

The place to start is selling anything you deem as “extra” around your house.  Once you’ve done this, you can start visiting the “nice” neighborhoods around your city to find potential customers. The key here is getting to know what you can sell and what you can’t sell.  Many electronics, such as computers, have the potential to bring in lots of revenue as long as you have the skills to get rid of the data from its previous owner.  If you can, it is recommended that you sign a contract that states that you will earn at least 25% of the earnings from selling the item. Make Money Online as a freelance article writer.

You’re probably not going to make all the money in the world doing this, but you will have a relatively easy time finding work, writing mini articles and then submitting them to various clients via article directories.  Clients can range from small business owners to bloggers, and you have a choice of either sticking to a specific niche and then selling a whole bunch of your articles to a set group of clients, or going with a per/instruction basis.  If you are planning on writing your own articles and then selling, you need to learn about keyword research, but this really isn’t overly complicated. You can look for work on eLance, WarriorForum, and WickedFire.

Make Money Online Writing articles for magazines or other publications.

You should try submitting articles for extra cash if you are good at writing. Have a plan and a certain genre you wish to submit to. There are publication opportunities out there for virtually any genre you wish. Try searching online for various publication resources and for jobs! Make Money Online Transcribing audio files.

If you are looking for a quick way to earn some cash by completing an easy job then sign up for an account on eLance or ODesk. You can advertise to entrepreneur forums such as WarriorForum or YoungEntrepreneur for the services you provide. You’ll need to be fluent in English and have good hearing to complete the transcription jobs, and it is important that you understand how to properly transcribe interviews before you start. If you plan on transcribing often a foot pedal is a good investment.

Make Money Online By Working as a virtual assistant (VA).

One of the most important bits of advice for someone who intends to become a virtual assistant, a job that has several books written on the subject, is to find one niche and focus on that.  For example VA For Bloggers. Let potential customers know what your specialty is by contacting them directly and telling them what you can do for them, and leave the freelance sites alone. Some other good resources available include AssistU, which can provide training for virtual assistants who are just getting started. You can also find work at eLance.

Make Money Online By Composing articles and putting them on eHow.com.

eHow can provide a steady monthly income for the user who understands keyword research techniques. By paying a percentage of ad revenue earned from advertising on your “how to” articles that you have published on their site you can receive substantial income by posting a few articles each day. Some people are making upwards of a hundred dollars a month after writing only 30 articles. Make money on eHow.com month after month on residual income. You can also write pages for HubPages and Squidoo.

Make Money Online: Do some videos to promote affiliate products.

Enjoy making silly videos? Even short, silly videos can sell products online. Find a product worth promoting that has an affiliate program, then target your video toward potential customers of that product. In your video summary on YouTube, place your affiliate link for the product, and after the video, do a 30-second still frame showing a short URL where people can buy the product. If your video is funny, informative, or useful, you may sell some products. Big tip: Try to promote a product that makes you a fair amount of money for each sale, but doesn’t cost a whole lot for the potential customer. You can find products on ClickBank.

Make Money Online: Author an eBook that targets those who need help.

“Desperate Buyers Only” is a product that was created by Alexis Dawes.  She has made as much as $97 from ebooks as small as 12 pages. What is her secret? Finding people who are really desperate for the information you provide and then doing good research to find a real solution to their problems.  The result? Happy customers whose problem is solved, and money for you — a win-win situation! The only catch is it may be tough to find a real desperate buyer niche.  I will admit my first eBook didn’t sell incredibly well, but I was able to take the information and turn it into a blog (see the next method), and still make money from it. Alexis recommends asking yourself, “What was the last situation where information would have either saved me a lot of money or a lot of pain?”  Or maybe you can think of someone close to you who has been in a tough situation and could have used information to avoid the pain. Think legal, medical, and financial niches.

Make Money Online Helping local businesses develop an online presence.

Here is another method that I am actually doing right now.  Local businesses are struggling. Many have websites, but aren’t getting any results from them. Others don’t have websites at all. You can help by learning search engine optimization, how to set up an email list, and more, and then implementing these for local businesses.  If you can deliver results, business owners will happily pay.  Find customers by going door-to-door, giving speeches at local chamber of commerce, networking at business events, as well as joining local lead generation and mastermind groups. You should start with businesses you frequent and business owners you already know. Another great resource is the Local Biz Builders Forum.

Make Money Online By Learning WordPress, then offering to install plugins and upgrading it.

Getting paid $5 for each WordPress plugin installed was a good deal for David, who runs Web Geek 4. With the high demand for the services this can be a full time position. Make Money Online Selling interviews after you have interviewed individuals.

I tried this once a few years ago and was able to make several hundred dollars just from one interview. To be successful you must first understand what a person is experiencing and then relay it correctly to an expert. Once you have done this, you can sell the experts advice to others online for several hundred dollars. Its a quick, convenient way to make extra money online. There’s more to this, including having good copywriting skills so your website sells the interview well, and knowing where to advertise, so don’t expect to immediately pull in hundreds of dollars. That said, it’s a neat way to quickly create a product. Get the interviews transcribed, then string a few interviews in the same industry together as a membership site or bundle that you can sell for more money. Make Money Online And Become a freelance “web geek.”

There are many different opportunities for web savvy individuals to help small business owners start and maintain an e-commerce site. You can locate these individuals on different business forums such as Warrior Forum.  I recently hired a web geek to set-up the hosting service for my local search marketing company (see method #12) and paid him $120.  Not a bad paycheck for only a few hours of work.

Make Money Online Designing Logos.

If you consider yourself to be someone who is creative and has the ability to create designs appropriate for corporations, why not try creating company logos? The most popular place for submitting ideas for logos is 99 Designs. While submissions are judged against those of other artists and some designers are unsatisfied with the results, it is a great way for new artists to see what corporate clients are looking for while building a portfolio.

Make Money Online Selling backgrounds and covers for Twitter.

This is a great way for someone to get some extra cash. Of course, it works best if you good at art. Make sure that you keep in mind that you will be creating the online face of that company or person.

Make Money Online By Perform social media and directory submissions.

Though this work isn’t very exciting is very important for those who run an online blog, business or community. You set up accounts on social websites and use those accounts to advertise for the company. There are currently software programs out there that do the same thing but most people would prefer it was a real person. Make Money Online: Edit audio for others.

Learning this skill is highly beneficial because it is currently in high demand! The Sony Sound Forge program is available on Windows but there are professional upgrades available if you need them. This will help you edit audio files to make them run more smoothly. After you get the hang of it, you can then offer your services to others.

Make Money Online: Promote Your Own Landing Page

You can make a small amount of money from software sites as well.  For example, How to Convert PDF is a tiny site that has free videos on how to convert other types of documents into PDF format. It sells a piece of software called PDF Creator, and the owner makes a few dollars every time someone buys from that site. The website was promoted successfully on pay per click ads and banners.

Make Money Online Using Pay-Per-Click To Promote Affiliate Products

I have to admit that I got burned doing this for my first few attempts.  But basically this is how it works:  you pay the search engines (Google, Yahoo!, Bing) on a per-click basis (usually between $0.01 and $2.00) to display your ads on relevant search engine results. You then use the ads to promote an affiliate product or make some offer where you are paid by commission.  For you Facebook users I can guarantee you that the ads you see on the right side of the screen are being done by Internet Marketers who are using this strategy. And if it didn’t make them a lot of money, then you wouldn’t see ads on Facebook or any of the search engines.

There is a fairly steep learning curve for this method, and to be honest I think the best way to introduce you to it is to send you over to this free report that can explain the whole process a lot better.  I suggest you take a course because in the PPC (Pay-Per-Click) game you have to front the cash to pay the search engines while you wait for your affiliates to pay you. And if you don’t know what you’re doing, you’ll burn through a few hundred dollars with no sales to show for it. However, this is a very lucrative way to make money online, but you need to be willing to put the time into learning the process.

Make Money Online By Building An E-Mail List and Selling Information Products

Quite simply, this is the most profitable business model in the world. First, you don’t have to stock inventory; you don’t have to do anything when the product is sold, and lastly, each sale is pure profit.  The right information targeted to the right audience holds almost infinite value. The first step in making money from this method is find out who you are selling to, and figure out what they want. Then sell them what they want. The 3 characteristics of your ideal market is 1) Irrational passion about a a certain hobby, problem, or topic.  2) They must have money.  3) They must be great in number and easily reached online (through eZines, Forums, websites, YouTube, etc.).

To get started all you need to do is sign-up with ClickBank, then get a web host and autoresponder service.  Now you need to choose a niche, the easiest way to do that is to go ClickBank and see what the best selling eBooks are.  Create a landing page and drive traffic to it through Pay-Per-Click ads, article marketing, video marketing, participate in forums within the niche, and answer questions on Yahoo! Answers. As you collect e-mails you can follow-up with them forever and make offers that you think will interest them from sites such as Clickbank or CPA Networks such as Hydra Network.
