First off, let me tell you that the Amazon Mechanical Turk website currently has no affiliate website, so if you are looking for a website that offers affiliate marketing, then Amazon Mechanical Turks is not the website for you. Also, with that said, I have no reason to give a biased opinion of this website, because as mentioned, since there is no referral program or affiliate program, I don't receive any compensation or bonuses if you sign up under my links for this particular website.
The Amazon Mechanical Turk Website is a place that online money seekers can go to hunt down mostly simple (sometimes difficult) tasks that they can complete and earn a set amount of money for doing each task. These tasks are also called "hits" in the mturk world.
Each assignment of "hit" the user accepts pays a set amount of money when completed (and approved by the requester). The set amount of money can range from .01 to 10.00 or more a hit. The requester (the individual that is requesting this work or "hit" to be completed) also has the option to add on a bonus to your assignment but that is completely optional for the requester.
The "hits" can take anywhere from 5 seconds to a full day to complete depending on the task. The "hits" can be anything from simply clicking a link, searching for a business phone number or verifying that items are categorized in the correct category for online stores. There are many different types of hits, and depending on the length of time the task is estimated to take or the difficulty the pay is usually set up according to that. But you can view the specific "hit" before you accept it and decide for yourself if the task is worth completing for the amount of money that is offered.
Another pro about Amazon Mechanical Turk's is that the requester (person requesting the "hit" be complete) must prepay Amazon the money that they will owe their workers, which cuts down on any scam artists out there. Also, a lot of people feel more comfortable working online for Amazon, as many of us use Amazon payments or shop on Amazon.com online all ready!
Amazon Mechanical Turks is a great way to make some extra money online. I use it myself. I can honestly say that it is very legitimate and that it does pay. Although if you do not complete a hit correctly the requester does have the right to deny your hit, but that happens very rarely, and as long as you follow instructions on the "hit" you should not run into any problems.
So what is the minimum to cash out and what payment methods are offered?
Workers have two options. The first option is to use your earnings to buy an Amazon.com gift card, that you can do with any earnings of $1 or more. Then use that money towards your purchases at Amazon.com and is offered to workers of any country around the world. The second option is available only if you have a bank account in the USA, the worker can request their earnings of $10 or more to be transferred to their bank account.
I am very happy with the Amazon Mechanical Turk website and think it is a great way to make money online in your spare time. You are not going to get rich off of it, but you sure can make some extra money with this website or use your earnings to buy yourself something nice that you usually wouldn't splurge on!
Also remember if you use Amazon Mechanical Turk along with other online money making websites such as FusionCash, InboxDollars, OpinionOutpost or others you can make even more money online!
So, is Amazon Mechanical Turk legit or a scam? Mturks is a legitimate website to make extra cash online!
